Guitar Lessons in Ashford, Kent (Electric, Acoustic, Classical & Bass)
We offer Electric, Acoustic, Classical, Ukulele and Bass guitar lessons in Ashford, Kent. Either on a 1-1 basis or in a group of a maximum of three people.
We teach all of the popular music styles: Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country, Classical, Metal and Folk.
We welcome all age groups and abilities whether you play already and are looking to move your playing on, or have never touched a guitar but have always wanted to learn.
Our guitar teachers are Chris Bailey, James Thompson, Mark Waterer and Ben Myatt who are all very experienced guitar teachers and performers.
Each student is provided with the relevant learning materials throughout their time with Right Track Music, which is all printed out in a clear and professional manner. Areas we look at are:
- Chord knowledge
- Rhythm playing
- Scales and technique
- Lead playing
- Theory related to guitar playing
Students are encouraged to put forward their own song ideas, as well as looking at songs put forward by the tutor. Our view is if you pick songs you like to listen to it will give you the incentive to want to play and really enjoy your playing, which in turn will have you practicing more regularly and progressing quickly!
For anyone who maybe is looking to gain a qualification or just recognition of their playing. We offer the Acoustic, Electric and Bass guitar graded exams from the Registry of Guitar Tutors of which we are members. The exams are accredited by the University of West London. If you would like to find out more about these please don’t hesitate to contact us.
