In recent years the drums have become the most popular instrument to take up second only to the guitar. We offer a comprehensive course that caters for the absolute beginner to the more advanced player.  Our drum teachers are Simon Bridgestock and Harry Arnold.

From beginner to gigging

The course will take you from the very basics of drumming. It covers the rudiments, posture, sticking techniques and beats through practical one-to-one sessions. It also includes drum music notation reading (if you wish to take the grades, you can). It’s up to you how far you want to take it!

The ultimate aim of the tuition is to get you playing as soon as you are ready. Even if you have never played before, with a little application and practice it wouldn’t be long before you’d be able to hold your own in a band.

Lessons last half an hour, but hour sessions are also available.
